Groov started with a simple frustration: developers were running entire communities out of spreadsheets and disconnected tools. We set out to give the industry one place to plan their developments, run lot sales, and put a live map on their site.

Our story

We founded Groov in 2020. Working alongside land developers every day, we kept seeing the same thing: the map lived in one tool, inventory in another, and the real source of truth in someone's head.

Groov brings it together. One place where every phase is on the map, every lot status is current, and your team, agents, and buyers finally see the same picture.

Groov is built by people who've spent careers shipping software and who grew up around the land business.

Ryan Glick

Co-Founder & CEO

Ryan has been building software for over 20 years, leading product teams and creating enterprise tools that help businesses run more efficiently. His background spans startups and large organizations, with a focus on building simple, user-friendly products that solve real problems.

He is also the host of The Land Development Podcast, where he talks with developers, builders, land brokers, and other industry pros from around the country to learn how they work and what is driving their success.

Ryan earned both his BBA and MBA from the University of Iowa. He and his wife have three kids who keep them constantly moving, between basketball, soccer, running, and whatever else is in season. When the calendar allows, they love packing up for road trips and finding time to unplug together.

Bryan Gill

Co-Founder & CTO

Bryan brings over 20 years of software engineering experience, with a deep background in building enterprise applications and a strong focus on user experience. He earned his degree in Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa, where he also pitched for the baseball team.

He grew up on a farm, where he learned the value of hard work early on, and his connection to land development runs deep, his dad is a land developer, which gives Bryan a unique perspective on the industry.

He and his wife have four kids who keep them constantly on the move with soccer, baseball, wrestling, football, and more. When he is not exploring new tech, you will likely find him throwing batting practice or helping coach from the sidelines.
